Year 6 camp to the Forest of Dean

On the 9th of June year 6 started their residential trip to the Forest of Dean . We stayed at the Dean Fields Study Centre.  The staff at the centre prepared loads of different activities. The site manager was called Ian and he prepared us for each activity.

We went on each activity with a group of about ten. When we were all geared up we were able to start the activities. We had to do many activities, like looking for treasure in the woods or fishing for bugs, but many peoples favourites were caving and canoeing.

Every day at 9:15am we had to clean our rooms for a room inspection. Everyone was sad when 13th June came around because that was the day we went home. We all got our suitcases ready and sat in the common room quite loudly discussing our time here. Then the coach arrived to take us safely back home.

We really enjoyed our trip to the forest of dean and we would like to go again.
