THE SCHOOL

Westfield Primary School is situated on the A367, 1.5 miles South West of Radstock town centre.

The school has 14 classes, 8 of which are accommodated in the main building and 6 in a new block which was opened in January 2006.

The premises also provide an assembly hall / gymnasium, a large entrance hall used as a library and resource area, a learning support room, well equipped administration offices and a kitchen where school meals are cooked.

The school is attractively landscaped and has extensive playing fields, two playgrounds and a small all weather area which has an adventure playground. Westfield also shares a new covered swimming pool with neighbouring Fosseway School.

We invite you to visit the school to view our excellent facilities. Here are two photographs showing children engaged in an end of term gala and children working in the new atrium with the classes on either side. They are talking to one of the Bath rugby players who has come in to help with a writing project.
