Year 1
‘I like playing in the role play with my friends.’ - Amber. Owl class is a very friendly class and we all enjoy spending time with each other. We all try our very best to be kind and helpful and always keep the ‘Owl Golden Rules’. Every Friday we have an ‘owl of the week’ who has tried their very best. They take home a medal and a certificate.
We also collect Rainbow award points and when we collect five we receive a special badge in Celebration Assembly. We pin these onto our book bags to collect.
‘We are learning about different countries.’ - Ethan. In Owl class we have chosen our own topics. This term we are looking at different countries. We have just had a Chinese party and eaten noodles and rice. We are off to
Friday is our favourite day in Owl class and we celebrate our good work from that week. We have ‘Show and Tell’ in the morning. Everyone is allowed to bring in something special to talk about. We also have Golden Time in the afternoon which is a special thank you to everyone in Owl class who has kept our Golden Rules.

‘We can play with our friends and make things’ -
We think everyone in Owl class is special. Every day we choose two special helpers who sit on a special chair and wear a special owl badge. We feel so grown up!
Alex is on our school council and Joseph is on the green council. They come back from their weekly meetings and tell us lots of important information.
We love Owl class.
