There are 3 photographs on this page that show the school from 3 different angles. When I came in 1976 it was very different from these photographs with more huts and the new building just being completed (where now we have just had all the classrooms changed from open plan) and where year 1, 2 and 3 are.

Look for the hedge that separates Westfield Primary from Fosseway School and the open air swimming pool that was built by parents of Westfield children. Later it had a plastic roof added and changing rooms at the front. Also note the old church building that has since been replaced by a more modern church.

Note also that the houses that now go from Fosseway School and the whole estate that goes with it had not yet been built.
