The children are very much the same in this photograph but Miss Langley has become Mrs Mills. Mrs Abbott is still the headmistress. (Note by editor: Checking the school log books I find that Miss Langley never became Mrs Mills whilst at Westfield, yet the two people in the photographs are identical leading me to think that the name on this photograph is an error).

Have a look at the attached photograph at the bottom of the page which shows the old school with the children in front doing Maypole dancing. The Head at the time was Mrs Abbott and the Deputy was I am told a Miss Williams. It is circa 1936. Note the old wind up gramophone which was being used.
