The Green Page
We now have a eco group of children who help to keep our school eco friendly. More will appear here later. Meanwhile here is a photograph of the first committee.

Westfield Green Council are in action. There are 14 members, two from each year. We were formed in January 2008. We have thought about cutting down on the use of rubbish, electricity and water we use. We have also had an eco week and a green leap day where we all wore green. In May 2008 we gained our bronze award for eco schools and we are now working for our silver. In May Jackie a campaigner from Envolve came and gave us our bronze award. We recycle old phones and ink cartridges. We also have our own garden in school and grow fruit and vegetables. We also have compost bins. Miss Webster is the teacher in charge and we all meet regularly with her. We are going to get a water butt to collect rain and it will fill up quickly with the weather we're having.
