Year 3

In Year 3 the work is harder but we still have lots of fun!

We get rainbow points for good work and behaving well. We love getting rainbow points. If we get 10 rainbow points we get a medal for that colour which we hang around our necks.

We have Golden Time stars and have Golden Time on a Friday afternoon. Sometimes we get to play on adventure play.

Our class Golden Rules are:

• Treat others how you would like to be treated.
• Be respectful and polite to everyone.
• Be honest.
• Be silent at the agreed times of the day.
• Listen carefully when others are speaking.
• Work quietly and allow others to do the same.
• Follow instructions carefully.
• Keep yourself and others safe.
• Care for the school environment.
• Enjoy Golden Time every week!

We have a special box called the ‘Grins and Grumbles’ box. We put in private messages to explain whether we have a good day or a bad day and Miss Samuel reads them out on a Friday.

We really enjoy the subjects we learn especially topic. We also do some really cool experiments in Science.

Swimming is on Thursday  and PE is on Monday with Mr Evans. ICT is on Wednesday and Friday.

We learn French in Year 3 and sometimes Mrs Collier from Norton Hill School comes in and teaches us.
