Welcome to your new class – here are the things we do

Awards  Our award system is that you need to get ten rainbow stickers before you can get an award.  The awards that we have are certificates that are in the order of the rainbow.  We keep our stickers in our own personal sticker books. After you’ve finished your rainbow books you get a Head Teacher award.

How we get our Stickers  We normally get stickers for good work like getting 10 out of 10 in our spelling tests which we have every Friday before Literacy, or for hard work in our books, for good behaviour and during lessons.  Also for taking part and having a go at something that you haven’t covered yet. We can also get rainbow points in our minute maths.

Our Class Rules

• Don’t talk when someone is talking
• Look after property
• Do be gentle
• Do be kind and helpful
• Be polite and considerate to everyone
• Give it a go and have fun
• Do listen to others
• Do include everyone in your game

We have a special box called the ‘Grins and Grumbles’.  You can write your feelings in it.

We go swimming on Friday, then we have a spelling test and Golden Time!  We all do PE on Wednesday and French on Wednesday. Madam Thomas will be teaching us sometimes.

We swap classes for Maths.

You will enjoy your time in Butterfly class because we are really friendly and incredibly kind.
